Sutro Baths in San Francisco, CA

The Golden Gate Bridge. Lombard Street. Alcatraz. All are iconic San Francisco tourist destinations but if there’s another spot that’s worth adding to your travel itinerary, it’s the Sutro Baths at Golden Gate National Park. Built in the late 1890’s by Adolph Sutro, the baths were the largest of their time and could facilitate up to 10,000 people.  What remains of the Sutro Baths is now in ruins but provides a nostalgic experience of San Francisco’s history, only minutes from the hustle and bustle of the city’s now fast paced and tech centric society.
