Over the last couple of years, I’ve discovered, met, followed and connected with some amazing women in blogging. It’s kind of crazy to think there are people out there who I’ve never actually met but keep up with more than some of my closest friends – weird or the new normal? If there’s one thing I’ve learned that crosses all spectrums of this internet journey of mine, it’s that showing support for people who put themselves out there and the stories and creativity they share is so, so important. It fosters a community that encourages risks and empowers us all.
To shine an even brighter light to that sentiment, I’ve put together this list of ten bloggers who I’m constantly inspired by and would love to have on my boss squad and meet up with for happy hour in real life.
Tina of Just A Tina Bit
Seattle-based fashionista, Tina, is one of my favorite people to follow on Instagram. Her style is so flirty and feminine and we’ve connected over our mutual love for travel, food, video games (yes, games) and most importantly — our puppies!
Kathleen of Carrie Bradshaw Lied
Sassy, southern and oh-so stylish, I just love everything about Miss Kathleen. Her head-to-toe looks inspire me to add one extra element to my outfit and her wit shines throughout her Instagram stories. She’s also living on the west coast which always brings back memories to my time living with Sam in Southern California – our home away from home!
Kathrine of Kathrine Eldridge
Kathrine is always one of the first people to comment on my blog posts and I look forward to her notes every time a new article hits my site. It seriously brings such a big smile to my face! A wardrobe stylist out of Chicago, she is such a savvy shopper and sweet soul. I feel like we’d meet for drinks and instantly start catching up like old friends.
Vanessa of What Would V Wear
Always glowing and inspiring, Vanessa is one of the first people I connected with when I began blogging a couple of years ago and I’ve loved witnessing her success grow and grow. Her willingness to share, love for her family and unique style make her someone truly special. Expecting her second child in the coming weeks, I have every idea we’d be enjoying mocktails together if we ever were to meet!
Lacey of My Boring Closet
When Lacey and I connected on Instagram, a part of me thought she was someone I actually new in real life already. Have you ever had that happen to you? Where you meet someone and keep asking yourself, “Where do I know this person from?” they just look that familiar. A fellow Florida-native who now lives in Colorado, Lacey is a free spirit with awesome street style and an infectious smile. We recently connected over our mutual love for Netflix series — especially Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt!
Denise of Fashion Love Letters
I feel like I’ve known Denise for years even though we’ve never truly met. She always styles such fun and bright looks and I absolutely love seeing what she’s up to in her Instagram stories. But it was after tagging along on her vacation vicariously through Snapchat last year that I knew we’d have a lot of fun (and probably cause a lot of trouble) if we ever got together!
Courtney of Color Me Courtney
Courtney’s personality and style definitely live up to her blog’s name. Always full of color, energy and positivity – I just love seeing what she’s up to in the big city. She’s fearless when it comes to implementing bright colors into her wardrobe and watching her tend to her sweet Frenchie, Waffles’, physical therapy sessions in her Instagram stories is the sweetest thing ever.
Olivia of That’s Lovely
Olivia is the only person on this list who I’ve actually met and hung out with in person! We would connect for shoots when she lived in Tampa and it’s been a good while since I’ve seen my bloggy friend. We’re long over due for a catch up and I just love seeing her adventures in style grow on Instagram. Plus, how gorgeous is she??
Lauryn of The Skinny Confidential
A girlfriend recommended I check out Lauryn’s podcast with her hubby because they reminded her of Sam and I. What I discovered was a boss I could relate to and be inspired by. Lauryn puts everything out there and her candor on all things being a woman is raw and unapologetic. Not to mention, she has amazing style and if I could, I’d live in her closet.
Milana a.k.a Milabu
I discovered Milana’s YouTube channel when my pixie cut finally grew out long enough to start styling and braiding. I was searching for some tutorials, discovered her channel and was instantly hooked! She creates amazing looks that I’ve never dreamed of before, ranging from beginner to superstar. What made me like her even more is discovering she also lives in the Tampa area – so random, right? Her following and subscribers have seriously grown to incredible numbers lately and I couldn’t be more stoked for her!
What do you think about this list of fabulous women? Is there anyone you’ve connected with or follow online that you’d like to meet up for a cocktail with in real life?
